International MultiModal Transport Association

IMMTA is a non-profit technical and specialized
organization dedicated to furthering the concept of
multimodal transport throughout the world.

IMMTA is governed by its Committee and General Meetings, assisted by the Secretariat in accordance with the IMMTA Rules This is the Organizational Structure of IMMTA.

The Regional Representatives or Focal Points and Working Groups also play an important role.

The objectives of the International Multimodal Transport Association are:

to act as a catalyst for the exchange of ideas and information on modern trade and multimodal transport technologies and logistics, including implications for the environment and development, and to arrange meetings thereon;
to act as a pool of experts on multimodal transport issues.
In pursuing such goals, the International Multimodal Transport Association's activities will include research, training seminars, conferences, the conferring of awards as well as the publication of papers, articles and books.
