IMMTA is a non-profit technical and specialized organization dedicated to furthering the concept of multimodal transport throughout the world.
IMMTA is governed by its Committeeand General Meetings, assisted by the Secretariat in accordance with the IMMTA Rules This is the Organizational Structure of IMMTA.
The Regional Representatives or Focal Points and Working Groups also play an important role.
IMMTA OBJECTIVES
to act as a catalyst for the exchange of ideas and information on 
modern trade and multimodal transport technologies and logistics, including implications for the environment and development, and to arrange meetings thereon;
to act as a pool of experts on multimodal transport issues.
